The textbook discusses the historical foundations and prerequisites for the development of digital circuitry, as well as the main provisions of the theory and concepts in digital circuitry. The functional interrelation of electronic and digital circuitry and the logic of constructing digital circuitry devices based on mathematical logic, basic definitions and concepts in digital circuitry are reflected. The concept of information, classification of information, methods, forms and formats of information representation, the main types of information carriers, and features of logical expression as the main concept that combines mathematical and logical operations are also described. The basic concepts of data through the representation of information in electrical circuits are considered. На примерах раскрыты основные правила преобразования чисел при переходе от одной системы счисления к другой, арифметические операции числами в позиционных системах счисления, а также виды, типы и форматы данных, применяемые для представления информации в цифровых системах обработки информации.
